What a festival Cheltenham was!

March 21st, 2021

Survived it . . . Thrived at it . . . What a week!

Well that’s Cheltenham 2021 done and dusted for another year. Looking back over the week that was, as we always do. There was many a close call with our each way plays hitting the frame or just missing out, all slightly frustrating at the time as many only just beaten and winners make a big difference to the cause when you're playing each way multiples!

We had place from Cepage (20/1) Saint Sam (5/1)The Bosses Oscar (5/1) Some Neck (12/1) Mighty Blue (16/1) Shattered Love (8/1) and that just indicates my point about how frustratingly close we came on occasions but as we know, gambling is a sprint and not a marathon.

No-one can doubt that we smashed the festival, we turned a profit on each of the four days with winners landed each day.

Our winners where Black Tears (12/1) Put The Kettle On (10/1) Quilixios (5/1) Allaho (5/1) Bob Olinger (2/1) Honeysuckle (7/4) Monkfish (1/2) Siskin (4/11).

We smashed 3/5 winners from our ante post lucky 31 that we all got stuck in to before the festival got underway, which was a 535/1 E-W Lucky 31. With Put The Kettle On battling all of her rivals in the Queen mother champion chase just as she did the year before when winning the Arkle.

By far the most visually impressive display of the week for me was Allahoa in the Ryanair! Never looked in doubt under a master class ride from the rider of the week, Rachel Blackmore.

We have a lot of history as a betting service, we launched back 2013. We have landed our festival best bet each and every year and again in 2021, we hit the target for the NAP with Quillixious, a 8th winning Cheltenham festival nap in a row!

Quillixious in winning the triumph hurdle continued to highlight up the strong stats and trends within the juvenile division and we where just touched off in the boodles juvenile, with Saint Sam. Confirming the strength of the form behind our nap of the week.

Reflecting over the festival, a different feel with no crowds, less runners, Irish dominance and British questions being asked. However, we can’t deny that even in these trying times, it was a an amazing showcase of our sport.
