Club Horses

Dandy Man (IRE) - Free Angel (USA)

Dandilion's pedigree is full of speed and that's exactly what you want from a 5f sprinter. She's currently operating at over a 30% win ratio for us in her 10 starts for the club, currently operating at a 70% strike rate for finishing in the top 3. Which is an absolutely amazing strike rate!

2017 was an amazing year for her, she won 3 races, was a close 2nd and 3rd on multiple occasions also. Dandilion is the perfect horse for a racing club and we are all enjoying her performances so much.

We are very much looking forward to her making her reappearance in 2018, as she's strengthened up and grew over the winter. If 2018 is as fun as 2017 with Dandilion, then I think we will all be very happy.

Shirocco (GER) - La Marianne (GB)

She is really well put together, she looks amazing and we are really excited about how good she could be. This filly is bred to be a national hunt winner. Her father Shirocco has sired Cheltenham festival winners Annie Power & Lac Fontana and Ascot Gold Cup winner Brown Panther. Her Mum La Marianne is from a top national hunt sire in Supreme Leader as he has a fine reputation for producing Cheltenham Festival winners.

We have now got Shiroccodee a nice handicap mark and we expect her to really show her ability over staying trips on summer ground.

Shiroccodee will also make a lovely broodmare in the future and hopefully breed us some winners a little further down the line.

Sir Lancelott

Piccolo (UK) - Selkirk Rose (IRE)

Sir Lancelott was bought as we believed another win was just around the corner for him, he will give us all a lot of fun over the winter time giving us some much needed runners in the North for our loyal supporters who live up there.

He's won 4 races from 25 starts, which is a 16% strike rate and that is good for any horse at this level.

Sir Lancelott is currently in training with Adrian Nicholls, who was an ex-jockey who is now trying to make his name as a trainer and we are more than happy to support him at this early stage in his training career.

We look forward to lots of trips to Newcastle this winter, as that's where he will do a lot of his running this winter.

Tuscany Poppy

Mangayoh - Extesa

This well put together filly is out of a dam Extesa who's only had 3 foals, the other 2 have both won races, the way this filly works at home we are expecting our filly to also win races. Her dam won 3 races, placed 6 times from 15 starts and that tells you how consistent she was in her races. Her sire Mangayoh won 17 times, placed 27 times, he won over €135,000 and was group 3 placed.

We have given this filly time to mature, as she was never going to be a strong 2yo so we gave her time in the field and she is now back in working well and we are looking forward to her debut in 2018.
