What a month it's been for us so far. We had our first winner of 2018 with Sir Lancelott winning at Wolves earlier this month, what made it extra special was that it was our trainer Adrian Nicholls very first winner as a trainer. The noise made by all the team as 'Lance' took up the running coming off the final bend was deafening, with Adrian enjoying the experience as much as our club members. It's a day that none of us will forget in a hurry.

Earlier this month 2 of our broodmares Gib & Caramelita started this years breeding journey by heading over to Mickely Stud. Caramelita will give birth to a Hellvelyn foal in the next week, then while she is still in her foaling heat we will put her back into foal to the very sppedy Heeraat. Gib has already been covered this week by Frankels full brother Proconsul. We are really excited about these 2 young sires and we are hoping that they will help produce really nice foals for us.

Our 3rd broodmare Daunt Rock arrived in Ireland today at Platinum Bloodstock where she will deliver her Outstrip foal. Like Caramelita once she's had her foal and still in her foaling heat we will be sending her to the Aga Khan Stud to be covered by the dual English & Irish Derby winner Harzand. This is a covering we are all very exctied by and our club members will be making the journey over to Ireland to have a look around Platinum Bloodstock and also the Aga Khan Stud late Arpil or early May, it will be a really memorable trip for us all I would expect.

We've got no entries planned for the next week, so a lot of focus will be on the broodmares and waiting for Caramelita to give birth to the first foal that will be birthed by the The Golden Horse Racing Club, something we are all really looking forward to and so excited for.

I will keep you all updated over the coming 7 days about how Caramelita is getting on and I just hope everything goes smoothly for her.

Thanks for reading our blog!

The Golden Horse racing club is simply the best. The knowledge, hard work and support is the best you will find. Thanks for making a dream come true"

"The Golden Horse racing club is rapidly growing and going from strength to strength, the ambition shown from the team is second to none. We are already collecting prize money from our horses finishing in the frame and that money get divided between the owners 'that is us, the members'. The subscription is well worth the money and it gives ordinary people the chance of owning racehorses that most people only dream about. Long live The Golden Horse."
